The exhibition will introduce the hemp-based PEEL Chair, the first injection-molded chair that can be composted.
Milan, March 22 2023 – PROWL Studio returns to Milan Design Week this April with Expect Death, a narrative installation that will debut the PEEL Chair, a new product concept developed in close collaboration with M4 Factory. PEEL is a responsible alternative to the ubiquitous plastic stacking chair made primarily from hemp. The exhibition concept showcases the entire lifecycle of the chair, which is biodegradable and compostable. Set within Alcova’s new venue at the former Porta Vittoria abattoir, Expect Death explores what happens when we leverage the end of a product as a new beginning.
